“Life is change and living with this knowledge can be awesome and terrifying. Seeking permanence outside ourselves can lead to an imbalance toward the terrifying. I believe the key to balance is developing inner strength and peace through self-knowledge, self-acceptance, and self-regulation. These are permanent, inner qualities that will enable you to thrive in career, family, social, and romantic relationships. I can help you in this process by providing a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental, therapeutic relationship through which you will learn to recognize and utilize your strengths to uniquely grow in those areas you would like to improve.”
Dawn utilizes theory and techniques from family systems, attachment, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral therapies. Through these modalities she facilitates clients’ insight into their needs and desires and supports them in utilizing this self-understanding to achieve their individual and interpersonal goals.
Dawn is Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #121359 offering therapy exclusively online in her private practice Walking Beside You.
